Anyone have Fiber internet service? Was the upgrade worth it?

was your service a noticeable upgrade?

I proposed to my HOA we begin to do a community outreach to get fiber connected to our community in Blacksburg. Upfront cost of $900+ per unit, then monthly fees that are comparable or less than what we pay now for 10 mbps cable. I don't REALLY need 300+mbps now, but know I want it in the future. What say you?
